Notes for MARGARET A. HINDS:
Per KY Green Connections, Pg 128: Children's names taken from 1860 and 1870 census. In 1875 Margaret and three of her children, Eliza Ellen, 16; Mary A. 9; and son E. W., 2, drowned in Green Co., KY. They drowned in the Green River after riding a horse into high water and being washed away. Vital Death Statistics of Green Co. gave her death date on 29 June the same as her children. The gravestone gives one day later.
