Mrs. Hazel professed faith in Christ in early life and united with the Baptist Church where her membership remained until her death. She loved her church and the nearer she came to the end, the more she talked about her "Heavenly home in glory", and was anxious to be with her loved ones who had gone on before.
A good wife, mother and neighbor, a conscientious Christian and citizen, Mrs Hazel will be greatly missed in her community and by all who knew her.
