WILL GRAVES DIES SUDDENLY
The news of the death of Mr. William Graves on last Monday evening was indeed quite a surprise, as he was up town during the day and was feeling in his usual health. He had been afflicted with heart trouble, and this was a severe stroke which caused an unexpected death.
Mr Graves was well known here, having lived in the Grove a number of years, off and on, and at one time was yardmaster of the Missouri Pacific at this place. He had a host of friends in this whole country, and they will learn of his death with much regret.
He was a most agreeable and highly popular gentleman, and his untimely death, while in the noon of life, was indeed a sad one, as he leaves a most devoted wife and four children to mourn his loss, he himself having always been greatly wrapped up in his family and their welfare. While he had been sick for some time, his death was not the least expected.
He was a member of the railroad orders and held in high esteem by the men who had been associated with him in his work.
The funeral services were held at the M. E. church in this city Wednesday morning at nine o'clock, Rev. Foresman officiating, after which the remains were interred in Greenwood Cemetery
